• Question: if you had to do a different type of engineering what would you do?

      I think if I had to do something else, I would be a doctor or a biomedical scientist. The most important part of my job to me is that I’m working on a medical device that would improve healthcare for people, and so I would want to work in a similar area if I could, even if that meant not doing engineering. But if I HAD to do a different kind of engineering, I would probably like to do mechanical or aeronautical engineering.

      I love civil engineering, so I wouldn’t change!
      But if I absolutely had to change, I think I would say mechanical engineering.
      Lots of different engineering degree courses have common subjects. When studying civil engineering, I studied the same subjects as mechanical engineers for a few years in university!
