There are so many interesting things (i.e., designing problems, designing solutions, implementing solutions, etc.). But in my very own opinion, one of the most interesting things that I get to take part on is discussing problems and solutions with my colleagues and bosses! I find particularly amazing how the same problem can be looked at and tackled so differently by different people.
It’s very similar to when I was in school and I had a project to do with my schoolmates, it would take us ages just to pick the colours of our presentations! Now it’s pretty similar only that we focus on very particular projects. I think that’s a fascinating part of my job.

the most interesting part of my job is the subject I study. I spend a lot of time reading about how bones are formed and how they heal after they break, and what all your different cells do when a surgeon puts a metal implant in your bones (its complicated!). There is loads to learn about the human body and how to fix it. Its also cool to talk to colleagues about what they do and learn a little about their subjects too

I am constantly amazed about the world of microbes and all of the cool things they can do, and how we can apply some of it in industry. There is so much you can learn about bacteria and yeasts, yet so much to still be investigated and discovered.

Figuring out a solution to a problem is always very interesting and rewarding. Engineers are trained to be problem solvers. For example, I am a civil engineer and I am often faced with drainage problems/flooding issues. I have to try and find out what is causing the issue and then come up with a way to fix it. It’s often more complex than it sounds but it’s very interesting coming up with a workable solution!

My favorite part is probably that I am can create new ideas and their implementation ways and that new useful for people things will be created by using these ideas. Sometimes results of your thinking may be other than you planed. It is perfect too because this expands our understanding of the world and help in a future work.

The most interesting part is that I can keep learning new things and also meet experts in my field to exchange our knowledge.

A very interesting angle of being a researcher is that sometimes you discover new things by accident. For example accidentally introducing new bug to a code could lead to new discovery. I find this pretty amazing. Sometimes you find answer without looking for them.

Working cool new technologies and developing apps that no one ever did before is probably the most interesting part of my job.
