It was absolutely beautiful! 🙂 The historical remains, landscape, sun, sea, and snow are incredible. However, being from the capital (Ankara) where ~5million people live, the commute was driving me crazy. For college, I moved to another city (Izmir) where my college was right next to the sea. We could go to the sea in between our lectures, swim a little bit, enjoy the sun, then go back to the class. Then, when summer is over it snows so much that you drive for 50 kms and there you go: a ski holiday. My childhood was full of travels. Think of Turkey like a compressed version of Europe, Asia, and Africa. Travelling from one city to another is often like a complete change of cultures and people.
